I have always wanted to open a small shop to sell my hand knit/crocheted goods, but really, ain't nobody got time fo' dat! I knew I wouldn't be able to fully dedicate my efforts to building a brand and customer base (crucial to having a successful business), so I never went after that dream. Instead, I started following knit and crochet blogs on Tumblr and getting patterns and ideas for new projects to try out. And as many fellow Tumblr-ites do, I love to show off my stuff. After all, that's what (crochet) hookers do, right?
I wanted to make sure that I wasn't taking someone else's blog name, so I searched for Hooker's Crochet Corner on Google and found this image. I'm not sure where it originated, but I think it really sums up the name of my blog and Facebook pages. It's a little quirky, just like me.
